Boydell’s is a boutique, family-owned and sustainably certified winery nestled in East Gresford in the Hunter Valley. Established on the historic Allyn River property first settled by Charles Boydell in 1826, Boydell’s is grounded in heritage and driven by a passion for hand-crafted, estate-grown wines that reflect their unique terroir.

Today, Boydell’s is run by Daniel and Jane Maroulis, who alongside their daughters, are custodians of the land. The vineyard is sustainably farmed and nurtured with care to produce small-batch wines of character and integrity. Boydell’s is a 5 Star Halliday Winery, with wines crafted by award-winning winemaker Liz Silkman — Halliday Winemaker of the Year 2025.

Boydell’s also offers a farm-to-table dining experience at their cellar door and restaurant in Morpeth.
